Downpours of rain triggered by a cyclone in the Bay of Bengal flooded the IREF campus and surrounding villages in late Oct.
Farmers are reeling from the loss of crops and many families have lost what little they have in the wake of the storm.
While IREF is struggling and repairing it's own buildings and schools, it is also reaching out to thousands of families devastated by the storm.
Long-term financial support will be needed to repair housing at IREF. Please consider making a donation on-line through JustGive.org. Make sure you designate the funds be used for "Flood Relief".
